What insurance do you take and will it cover O.M.T.?

We accept most insurance policies. If you have a question about your policy, please contact your insurance company directly.

What is the current wait time for a new patient to get in to see the physician?

Currently new patients are scheduled within a week.

My primary doctor made me an appointment and I can’t keep it what do I need to do?

If you or your doctor has scheduled you for an appointment and you can’t make it, please notify our office 24 hours in advance and we will be happy to reschedule. Failure to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time will result in a $50 No Show Fee

What Pictures do I have to fill out?

Upon arrival to the office for your appoinment, you will be asked to fill out the necessary paperwork. You may also download the Pictures here for your convenience: Patient Welcome Packet 2015.zip---Please bring it with you on your appointment day.

I am running late, what is your policy?

Due to the time constraints of our office, patients who are more than 10 minutes late for their appointment will be rescheduled. There are no Exceptions.

I have a co-payment but don’t have the money for my appointment?

Co-Pays must be paid upfront on all visits. If you are unable to pay, our staff will reschedule your appointment.

How long is the first appointment?

The first appointment is scheduled for an hour. The physician will spend 45-50 minutes with the patient.

How long are follow-up appointments?

Follow-up appointments are scheduled for 20 minutes. The physician will spend about 15 minutes with the patient.

How many visits before I see results?

Most patients see lasting improvement the first visit.

Is O.M.T. the same as Chiropractic Treatment?

No. Forceful adjustments are not used by the physician in our office.

Is O.M.T. the same as Physical Therapy?

No. Physical therapy works to relieve pain and disability through the use of exercise, heat, and hydrotherapy. OMT works to integrate the structure of muscles and bones so that health is restored.

Do I have to get labs, x-rays or other tests done?

No. Somatic dysfunction cannot be diagnosed using any of the above methods. Somatic dysfunction is diagnosed and treated with O.M.T.

I have test results and would like for the physician to look over them. Is that a problem?

No. The physican will review any outside tests as necessary.

I want to bring a friend or family member to the office?

Friends and family members are welcome. However, due to privacy regulations, no one is permitted back with a patient. --Special circumstances are made if the patient is physically/mentally disabled or under the age of 16. One caregiver will be allowed to accomodate the patient during their visit.
